Regarding Rocky Burnette's "Tired of Toein' the Line", the database notes that the 45 run time is 3:32, while the LP time is 3:40. I thought I'd add that the 45 is an early fade of the LP length. The song's database CD run times currently range from 3:35-3:41.

I'd be curious to hear if there's anything special about this fade, myself...
Anybody have the original 45 and can tell us about the early fade of the LP version?
Also, was this album ("Rocky Burnette – The Son Of Rock And Roll") really never released on CD?

It is difficult for me to express the fade-out instruction precisely. try my best!
My LP's actual running time is 3:39, the 45 time is 3:31.
Fade-out starts around 3:21.
The 45 gets suddenly lower volume at 3:27. (after "Baby I'm")
End point, "Tired Of Toein' The Line" vocal at 3:29.6 plus Electric guitar 0:02.7 "3:32.3" (END)
Speed up little. The 45 ends at 3:31.9 (Actually, the LP speed is slightly slower than the 45.)

FYI. The Radio Daze 3 CD--which is one of the best
sources for this tune--has the L-R channels reversed.

Ok. This song does not have a lot of great stereo
reference points, so I went back to compare. It was a
vinyl rip that I was comparing with, but I went out to
YouTube to make sure that file was accurate and--guess
what--even the 45 rips there show different L/R
channels. I'm sure someone has his wiring wrong. Can
someone from the board here report on the stereo
configuration of their 45? The one reference point that
I was using was which channel has the louder (and
buzzier) lead guitar line that starts about 0:09 in.

You mean that isn't a tuba? ;) It favors the left channel on my stock 45. The piano tends to lean right.

Ok. Based on the recent evidence I will redact my
original statement about the Radio Daze CD. That
source does indeed have the correct L/R channels. My
original 45 rip was swapped. Sorry for the confusion!
