my commercial cassingle for the stacy earl song "romeo & juliet" issued as rca 62192 lists the run time as 4:14 with no description and runs 4:14 and it is identical to the full length cd/lp version running the same length.....the notes s/b be reviewed as they may not be acurate as listed below

released as by STACY EARL featuring THE WILD PAIR (dj copies of this 45 ran (3:58); commercial copies were all (4:08))

I have a 1-track promo CD single of Stacy Earl featuring the Wild Pair's "Romeo & Juliet" on RCA 62191-2. The song has an actual run time of 4:13, which is the same length as the album and commercial single (There is no track description listed on the promo disc and the printed label time is 4:14).

A number of years ago, I posted something in another thread about my research suggesting there might be a 3:58 radio edit of "Romeo & Juliet", but I've never been able to substantiate this. So can anyone verify if the 3:58 DJ edit/length as reported in the database does indeed exist?

In addition to the promo you mentioned I have another promo RDJ-62231-2 with two cuts. Cut 1 is "3:00 a.m. Mix" with listed time of 4:15; 4:13 actual and Cut 2 as "Yo! Romeo's Julie Edits (Extended 3:00 a.m. Mix)" with listed time of 6:28; 6:26 actual.

The stick-on label on the front cover states "Urban".

Yes, the proper Radio Edit 3:58 can be found on the German CD Maxi Single. It took me years to collect all 4 U.S. promo CD singles (plus the German CD Maxi). The commercial vinyl
maxi singles contains more mixes, surprisingly left off the promo CD single.

this entry needs further review.....the german import has a
radio edit version running 3:58 but the us promo has the
4:14 single/lp version.....pat you may want to look at this
one again as i thought we didn't incorporate foreign cd's
cd's singles or vinyl.....please review.....the db states
the dj edit runs 3:58 which i don't think is correct...
