my commercial 45 for the moody blues song "tuesday
afternoon (forever afternoon)" is mono and is issued as
deram 85028 with a stated run time of 2:16 and does indeed
run that length.....i have the proper 45 version on cdr
from somewhere.....so it is available.....al beit in
stereo...this 45 run time info s/b added to the db....

i need the classes help on this one.....does the vinyl 45
start off with the cymbal taps before the songs
starts?....my 45 is so beat up, i cannot tell because the
surface noise at the beginning is so bad.........thanks in
advance....

I just dubbed this one merely hours ago. It does not start with cymbal taps, and my copy also runs 2:16.8. It also starts slow (in pitch) and gradually speeds up over the first few seconds.

Just FYI I did a comparison with the mono 45 (Thanks,
Aaron)and the stereo mix folded to mono, and I detected no
difference in the mix at all.
The only difference would be the tape drag on the intro of
the 45, as Aaron pointed out it the first few seconds run
slow.
