Glad to be onboard. I have a stereo 45 of Come Into My Heart and The Best Of Lloyd Price The Millennium Collection with this song on it in stereo but sounds like a different recording. I don't have the mono 45 to see which stereo version it matches. Does anyone know about this. Thanks

Welcome Bondy! I do not own those particular 45's so I cannot be of
assistance. Maybe some of our other 45 collectors here can chime in here? As
you read on a lot of work and energy goes into the accuracy of the Top40
history. If you have any doubts about a particular record, you've found the
home to research it and ask questions. Some consider this place the holy grail
of accuracy. I agree wholeheartedly as www.top40musiconcd.com should be your
first stop before assuming.

Bondy, allow me to extend a "welcome" to you as well. I do own and had
already pulled my original 45 to check for you. I don't own his
"Millennium" CD, but I do own his "Greatest Hits: The Original ABC-
Paramount Recordings." So I logged onto Pat's db, to see if there was a
difference in the two CD versions, before continuing my intended analysis
on your behalf. My CD has the song in mono, and, as you noted, the
"Millennium" version is in stereo. I also saw that Pat has added a note to
the "Millennium" CD version, stating "alternate take". Bondy, this is just
one of many examples of why Pat's db is so valuable. After seeing this, I
don't need to go any further here. Hopefully, Pat doesn't mind me givin' a
"newbie" like you a "freebie" bit of info here. But if this song is an example
of your Top 40 interests, then I highly recommend you plunkin' down the
30 bucks a year for full access, as so many of us here already have.

Actually, we CAN go further here. The song was issued on 1959 stereo 45
ABC-Paramount 45-S-10,062. There ARE cases where a stereo 45 was an
alternate version, and I would like to think this is the case here, but we would
need someone with a stereo 45 to pull it to check. Bondy, is yours the original
stereo 45?
