my commercial 45 for the elvis presley song "if you talk in
your sleep" issued as rca victor apbo-0280 states the run
time on the label as 2:25 and does run that
length.....question i have is.....the cd copy of the
essential 70's masters which runs 2:33 does NOT include the
word "friend" or something like it at the mark 2:22 during
the fade out.....it's after he sings "forget where you
came" at the 2:16 mark.....does the cd 'promised land"
which runs 2:25 contain the word "friend" at the 2:22 mark
during the fade....i believe the 2:33 version should be
titled other version.....pat could you review these cd's to
see which cds contain the word "friend"...

None of the (2:33) entries contain the word "friends" Ed and have been noted as a "remix" comment.

Right in this case and right in other cases as well. However you did not specify which version of "Promised Land" you were inquiring about so check the database carefully.
