Hard To Find 45s On CD Vol. 13 (The Love Album):

Volume 13 in the acclaimed Eric Records "Hard To Find 45s on CD" series spotlights the most common theme in pop music: love! But this collection is far from common. Sure, almost all of the songs are Top 20 hits, but they're not widely available on other CD collections, and some aren't available anywhere else. These include two tracks from the long-lost master tapes by Hamilton, Joe Frank & Reynolds. And for collectors, there's new stereo by Five Flights Up and the Avant-Garde (all tracks are stereo except track #10).

1. Love Me with All Your Heart - The Ray Charles Singers

2. It Must Be Him - Vikki Carr

3. Don't Say You Don't Remember - Beverly Bremers

4. Fallin' In Love - Hamilton, Joe Frank & Reynolds (single version debut)

5. Winners and Losers - Hamilton, Joe Frank & Reynolds

6. Do What You Wanna Do - Five Flights Up (US CD debut)

7. (If You Let Me Make Love to You Then) Why Can't I Touch You? - Ronnie Dyson

8. My Pledge of Love - Joe Jeffrey Group

9. Little Arrows - Leapy Lee (stereo LP version)

10. Rings - Cymarron (mono single version debut)

11. Naturally Stoned - Avant-Garde (stereo debut)

12. Feelings - Morris Albert

13. The Last Farewell - Roger Whittaker

14. Why Me - Kris Kristofferson

15. Wedding Song (There Is Love) - Paul Stookey

16. Annie's Song - John Denver

17. Oh Happy Day - The Edwin Hawkins Singers

18. A Song of Joy (Himno a La Alegria) - Miguel Rios (US CD debut)

19. Amazing Grace - The Royal Scots Dragoon Guards

Release Date: Sept. 18, 2012

I just recently ordered and received my copy of Hard to Find 45s on CD, Vol. 13: The Love Album and I must commend the disc's audio engineers on an overall excellent sounding set. It's practically a revelation to hear songs like "Fallin' in Love" and "Annie's Song" in such unprecedented sparkling clarity!

Excellent collection, with some of the best sounding transfers to date on every song.

Note: Sounds like there was a glitch correction done to "Rings" by Cymarron. 8 seconds into the song right after the line "Baby whatcha doing?", the song skips forward slightly, as if a pop or drop out was edited out or fixed with a digital correction program.

There was nothing to fix on the original 45 so maybe the tape used dropped out at that point or this is an excellent vinyl transfer that needed a fix.
