my commercial 45 for the andy williams song 'butterfly'
issued as cadence 1308 lists the run time on the label as
2:47 but actually runs 2:20...this brings it in line with
most of the db entries...this 45 run time info s/b added to
the db...

Our commercial 45 lists a running time of (2:17). Ed, are you sure yours says (2:47) and not (2:17)???

Interesting... my two Cadence 1308 stock copies both state a time of 2:17, but a third 45 on the Cadence Gold Record Series 1606 reissue states 2:47.
EDIT: Found a third stock copy: this one's an actual RCA pressing, deadwax H8 0W3164-1. Listed time is 2:17.
My other two 2:17-listed stocks are identical, using stampers cut by RCA, but pressed by someone else, probably on the west coast. Cheap, crackly-sounding vinyl on these two. Deadwax: H8 OW3614-1E delta 13618
The 2:47-listed Cadence Gold reissue is a styrene Columbia pressing, deadwax ZTSP64724-1E, probably dating from 1963.
