my commercial 45 for the otis redding song 'i've been
loving you too long' issued as volt 126 states the run time
on the label as 2:49 but actually runs 2:53....this brings
it in line with the db entries for the '45 version'....this
45 info s/b added to the db...

The single version was mono only. The Otis Blue LP sessions were the first use of Stax Studios new Ampex 4 track installed by Tom Dowd in Memphis. This track was re-recorded in Stereo for the LP with the flip side of the single for the release.
