This one didn't chart well in the 80s but is a staple of 80s shows today.
My problem is that there appears to be three versions of the song:
1) The album version, running about 6:07.
2) The commercial single, running about 4:18.
3) The radio edit, running about 3:55.
The album version is obviously from the LP itself, and is the song in full.
The commercial single appears to be a edit of the LP version (taking out 1:06 between 3:15 and 4:21), an early fade, and is also sped up about 2%. I base all of this on the version found on "Just Can't Get Enough - New Wave hits Of The 80s Vol. 11."
The radio edit, if this video is to be believed, is simply an early fade of the LP version.
Does anybody have either the commercial 7" or the promo 7" to confirm or deny my findings?

Thanks to Chuck, I can now confirm that the edit on NWHOT80s Vol. 11 is identical to the commercial 45. The only possible difference is that the CD seems to fade out for a few seconds longer than the single.
Taking a look at Discography's listings for promos on this song, it suggests the 3:53 / early fade may have only been released in the UK. The commercial 45 length matches what is listed for the U.S. promo.

Gene, FYI, there is currently a U.S. promo 45 scan for the song being offered
on www.musicstack.com, that both confirms your statement above, and also
appears to be exactly like my promo 45 copy.
