i have a cdr version of the song which doesn't match the
vinyl 45....it sounds like its a remake, or re-
recording....does anyone have this song on any of the cd's
in the db.....i'd like to compare it to my vinyl 45 and
the cdr version i have....it happens to run 2:33 while the
vinyl 45 runs 2:31....not a big enough difference, but i'd
like a few of the other cd versions to
compare....thanks...edtop40

Ed, I will shoot you out the song from his Rhino GH CD, for you to
analyze/compare against your 45 - please let us know of your findings....

ok, jim and santi where kind enough to send me files of
their cd's that contain the song 'rainin' in my heart' and
after listening to them versus the cdr version i have and
the vinyl 45, these are identical....i don't know where i
picked up the version i had on cdr, but it's not the
same...thanks jim and santi for helping me sort this one
out!!

Ed, our commercial 45 shows a time of (2:45). Does your copy also show that time?

yes, paul....i should have mentioned that...the label
lists a run time of 2:45 but the song actually runs 2:31
on the vinyl 45
