not in the db because of it's low peak billboard chart
position on 38 in 1975, does anyone know if this song was
ever released on cd here or abroad?

Ed, I found the track on CD in only one place: An Amazon "the CD-R will be
created upon ordering" piece called "Slam Bam Wham (The Dave Cash
Collection)". The audio quality of tracks from other CDs I've bought using
this method can vary widely, and have used both mp3 and vinyl
sources at times, to produce the provided audio. Nonetheless, I have ordered
it, and we'll see how it sounds once I get it, OK?

I had to order a copy of the 45 to be able to create an mp3 of this for my 1970s top 40 hits collection. It's actually a pretty great record.

jim was kind enough to send me a copy of the file from the
cdr he bought recently for my review.....it's clearly
dubbed from vinyl as the intro and fade have audible
surface noise....in addition the song is truncated early,
i'm guessing because the surface noise was too over
powering during the fade out.......my commercial 45 has a
listed and actual run time of 3:17.....the file jim sent
is pitched up as well as dumps the song early and runs
3:07...

good news.....i found what looks like the lone cd that
contains this song!!....and it sounds like it's a tape copy
and not a vinyl dub.....it's on the ace uk import cd titled
'charlie gillett's radio picks: honky tonk volume 2' issue
as ace uk cdchd 1419....let me know if anyone needs a copy
for your research....
