has anyone tried to edit down the cd/lp versions to recreate the 45 versions???

The stock copy of "Gimme All Your Lovin'" has a listed time of 3:24 but actually runs 3:25.
Regarding "Gimme All Your Lovin'", I just recreated the 45 version, using the Greatest Hits.
To recreate the 45, keep 0:00.000-3:01.041 of the LP version.
Remove from 3:01.041 on the drum beat to 3:33.075 on the drum beat.
Your resulting file will run just a tad over 3:25.

The single version of both songs are promoted as being on the new
compilation "The Very Baddest of ZZ Top" due in July.
