Here are the details from my promo CD single for Dr. Dre "Keep Their Heads Ringin'":

DPRO 50868
Matrix: **DPRO-50868**
1. Radio (actual 5:01)
2. LP Version (actual 5:06)
3. Instrumental (actual 4:55)

The "Radio" version has the same censored lyrics as the clean "Friday" soundtrack version; however, the word "ass" has been reversed in two places on the promo CD single.

The LP version begins with a 10-second spoken intro that the "Radio" version does not have. Also, the LP version fades out at the end, while the "Radio" version ends cold.

Interesting! Ed, I just discovered there are two promo CD singles. In addition to the copy I posted above, I have a second copy of DPRO-50868 that has the RE2 in the matrix area. Here are the details of the "RE2" copy:

Matrix: *DPRO-50868*-RE2
1. Radio (actual 5:01)
2. LP Version (actual 5:02)
3. Instrumental (actual 4:55)

Even more words are censored in this RE2 "Radio" version. I guess radio must have complained that it wasn't clean enough, and this promo was pressed up.

Thanks a million for pointing out that your copy was different, Ed!
