I think the database may need to reflect that
"Calcutta" in stereo to be the LP mix or LP Version.

I haven't heard a vinyl LP with it, but the 45 is
definitely a different mix.

In talking with Tom Daly, here is his perspective on
the Dot 45: "The recording really IS that compressed
on the mono 45, pressed by
RCA! I do not recall that the mono LP had as much
compression as the 45, and that could well be a
qualifying difference between what you hear on the
stereo mix vs. the mono 45. It's rather obvious that
the percussion in the right channel of the stereo mix
is completely mixed-out of the 45 mix. It almost
appears that the single mix uses the left channel of
the stereo mix until Myron Floren's accordion solo
comes in on the right channel. Naturally, you can't
re-create the 45 mix by tinkering because the
percussion that's absent from the 45 is present during
the accordion solo on the stereo mix."

Ed sent me a mono copy of the song, presumably the lone
mono entry in the database. To me, it sounded like a
fold down.

Does anyone have a copy of the mono vinyl LP "Calcutta" to see if it matches the 45?
