I have the song "I Need You" by LeAnn Rimes on a 7-inch single, a commercial CD single, a promo CD single, and the Greatest Hits CD (all US pressings). There are two different versions of the song.
The 7-inch single and the commercial CD single have additional instrumentation overdubbed on the very first note that is not on my promo CD single (DPRO 7087 6 15141 2 4) or the Greatest Hits CD. I haven't compared the two versions closely enough to determine whether there are other differences.

1. (non-described version) (actual 3:47)
This version starts with just a drum track and matches what is on Greatest Hits.
There's also a V/A CD not mentioned in the database with this song called Wings Of A Dove (Curb D2-77973, 2000) https://www.discogs.com/Various-Wings-Of-A-Dove/release/1408 8546. Spotify has this compilation available to stream, and it contains a 3:27 version (actual) that matches the "Country Version" from a TM Century CD. Sure enough, there's a Curb CD-R promo with a printed time of 3:30 and has the "Country Version." Although I don't own the actual promo, it surely must be the same 3:27 version found on "Wings Of A Dove" and the TM Century CD. Instead of starting with drums, there's an opening steele guitar note, and then the full instrumentation begins.
