the db states there is a difference between the 45 version
and lp version....anyone know what those differences
are?............i just listened to the 45 against the mono
version from the cd 'the monument singles' and it sounds
pretty spot on to me.....anyone??

From the Roy Orbison Mono Compilation string:
Here's how you can tell the difference: Where Roy sings "I remember that you said goodbye, it's too bad that all these things" the word
"goodbye" is sung shorter on the mono 45, and Roy comes in on time for "it's too bad".
On the stereo version the word "goodbye" is extended and he is slightly late on the "it's too bad" line.
So they were fixing that Roy came in too late, but never fixed it for the stereo mix.

paul was kind enough to buy a cd which has the correct 45
version on it....if anyone needs the correct version it's
here...
