Hi all, as far as I can ascertain, the 45 version of
Robert Palmer's "Addicted to love has been released
only on to two CDs. An australian Dino comp which I
would love to get a copy of, released around 1988
called "A decade of No1 Hits", and then the Warner /
Rhino compilation; "Omigod, the 80s pop culture box
set", which has been dynamically bricked so hard, that
pumping is heard through many of the tracks, just
making the complete six CD set utterly unlistenable.
For easy identifying, the track's length clocks ini
around 4:00 to 4:02.

In 1989, EMI (in Australia at least) released the
addictions compilation, the best of robert palmer
volume one, which contained a remix from hell; the
album version chopped up to make a new single edit.
This version clocks in around 4:20 to 4:27 (mostly
4:27) and painfully appeared on several compilations,
just when "as seen on TV" companies where starting to
release CDs, along side of their tapes and records.
So my question is, does anyone know of any other,
preferably) pre 1991 compilations CDs that the
original 45 edit of this song ever appeared on.
