Just missed the Top 40 by peaking at #43
in 1986. Anyone know if the 45 Version has
ever appeared anywhere on CD or if it can
be created from the album version?

I wasn't really familiar with the song but had a copy of
the 45 on my hard drive.
From what I can tell initially, it's one simple edit by
removing 1:08.922-2:18.157 (timing based on my file.) But,
the 45 runs about 4 or 5 seconds longer than all of the LP
versions I can find. All of the LP versions fade sooner.
