Another low rung hit in 1987, this one is a freestyle classic. It appeared on Freestyle Greatest Beats 4 with a running time of 3:49. However discogs has the 1986 release as 3:22. Is the 3:49 found on the comp the correct 45 or is the 3:22? In 1999 there was a CD single released which has the versions but it has the original radio mix at 3:16 which might match the 1999 CD single release...
What makes this worse is a cassette in 1987 with the '89 was added which is possibly a remix and in 1989 this song was re-released but did not chart.

A few years ago I found this CD at my local F.Y.E. in the
$3.00 rack. What a bargain! Nocera-"Over The Rainbow".
Sleeping Bag records CDSB-11, copywrite 1987.
"Summertime, Summertime" listed 3:22, actual 3:20. I
think most of the Various artists CDs with this hit
(Billboard-#84), have tracks that are segued together. -
Bill.

Chicago Bill, you got the deal of the year! That disc
will usually set you back a couple hundred.
The 12" Mantronix mix thickens the bass as well as
providing a good break in the middle. I was sitting at
a stop light the other day with it cranked and it
sounded good over FM.
