Does anyone have the CD comp "Forever Rex - The Very Best of Rex Smith" which contains the non-charting single "Remember the Love Songs"? I'm trying to determine if it has the single mix (3:30) or album mix (4:52). And Discogs doesn't list a time.

The single contains a middle section about 25 seconds long which is not on the album version.

Also, if anyone has the 45 and can dub it, that would be helpful, too. But I'm hoping this comp CD has it. It's the only CD that might have the single mix.

Hi EdisonLite. I do have the album mentioned by you(from
the Philippines) and I'm sorry to let you know that it
includes the album version of Remember the Love Songs. I
was not familiar with that song, but with a 4:54 length
it's exactly the same version of the Everlasting love
album (released by Wounded bird on CD).

Thanks. A bit slow getting back to this website. I wrote a seller on Discogs that had the VBO Rex Smith CD and he told me the time was 4:54. The single version has a section that's not on the album version at all, mostly done to transition to the last chorus. As this wasn't a chart hit, I doubt it will ever come out on CD.
