Is the CD single promo version labeled (remix) the same as the 45 version?

I don't have the promo, but it's a safe bet it's the same as the 45 version. I do have the Cassette Single which is also labeled as "Remix", and it's definitely the hit version we've all come to know and love for the past 32 years.

In fact, that Cassingle was my only source for the hit version until her first "Greatest Hits" album came out in 2000. I didn't get a computer until the next year and therefore didn't have access to the Internet or the Promo/Import CD Singles which had been released before that time. Same thing with most of the other singles from that album.

That's the thing, why label it a remix if it isn't. If anyone has the promo kindly let us know.

Well, it is a remix. The LP uses a totally different mix.

The 45 version is a remix. The promo CD remix is also a
remix. To my knowledge, they're the same.
