Is the LP version the same as the 45? I couldn't find a thread on this particular song, which hit the top 20 in 1986. The 45 version label says 3:47, but the LP runs about 4:04 off the Greatest Hits.
Pat's database does not indicate any distinctions. If anyone has the 45 can you check? Thanks.

Rich- It can't get much closer. Pat's database states the actual time of the 45 RPM single
is 4:00, and I come up with 4:00.3 from my Arista stock copy. -Bill.
