Hey folks. I've been a lurker for a bit. But after some
searching here, I've not found anything. This is probably
super low priority as it wasn't a huge, impactful single.
But I wondered if anyone knows of a radio/single/hit
version of Do The Bartman from 1990's The Simpsons Sing
The Blues. Or, knows the edit instructions if it could be
re-created from the LP version. According to Wikipedia,
there's a 3:59 edit out there, somewhere... Thanks.

Timmy,

Welcome to the forum! This is probably the CD single
you're looking for -
https://www.discogs.com/release/821460-The-Simpsons-Do-
The-Bartman

1 Do The Bartman (7" House Mix/Edit)     3:54
2 Do The Bartman (LP Edit)         & nbsp;   3:59
3 Do The Bartman (Bad Bart House Mix)     4:49
4 Do The Bartman (Swingin' In The House Mix)     8:35
5 Do The Bartman (LP Version)        &nbs p;    5:11
6 Do The Bartman (A Cappella)        &nb sp;    3:44

I wasn't working Top 40 when this came out, but my guess
is most stations either played Tracks 1 or 2.

FWIW, I remember hearing the 7" edit on my local Top 40 station at the time. It was HUGE for a few weeks, but burned out
quickly.

I was just in LA last week and heard it in the Simpsons
area at Universal Studios, which is what brought it up in
my mind.

The 7" House Mix/Edit (Cut 1 on the promo CD) was a way better mix, IMO.
