"Hawaiian War Chant" by Billy Vaughn & His Orchestra only
reached #89 on the Hot 100. (It was a #24 hit at CHUM Toronto,
together with its flip, "Trade Winds"). The stereo version on
Complete Pop Instrumental Hits Of 1959 is a different
recording than the 45.

Paul,
This is news to me (and probably many others). Do you have a dub of the 45
so that I can compare? Hoping....

The 45 version doesn't seem to be on YouTube, so I uploaded
it:

I made it an 'unlisted' upload (which means it can only be
accessed via the above link and not via a search). My channel
now has two 'strikes' against it. One more and I will get the
boot.

I listened and I believe it to be the same version, just a completely different mix
- it's full of reverb for one thing, especially during the opening drums.
