I inquired with Jim regarding Rod Stewart's "My Heart Can't Tell You No" to see if a shorter edit was ever issued on a DJ promo single. He reports that his promo 45 and promo CD single copies both run 5:11 and states "LP Version" on the label. Therefore it appears the DJ, 45, and LP versions are all identical. It's probably not necessary to add this information to the database, but I just thought this would be helpful to anyone who had been on the lookout for a shorter edit of "My Can't Tell Me No".

One thing regarding this song that is worthy of noting in the database though... Rod Stewart's Out of Order CD (Warner Brothers 25684) incorrectly lists the song's title as "My Heart Can't Tell Me No" on the CD label.

Todd, I always wondered about an edit, since the album version is a bit too long for my taste. Now I now it's all there is. Thanks!

The actual commercial 45 run time of Rod Stewart's "My Heart Can't Tell You No" is 5:10. (Thanks to abagon for once again providing the run time info. The printed time is 5:12 and states "LP version" on the record label.) The reason I post this is because database CDs containing this song run 5:09-5:15.
