What a GREAT site!!! Having just read all of the posts on here, I'm surprised this wasn't mentioned. The "She Bop" 45 is a completely different mix than the LP version, with added instrumentalization, vocal echo and sound effects. Has this popped up on CD anywhere? The versions on the "She's So Unusual" CD release and her greatest hits packages are all the LP version, and this one doesn't get licensed too often in favor of "Girls Just Want to Have Fun"...

Yes, actually the 45 mix is available on Twelve Deadly Cyns (Epic 66100), and a number of other CDs listed in Pat's book. If you're a big collector of 45 versions of songs, the book is extremely helpful in finding the CDs on which those versions are included. Welcome to the message board, Tim!

I think it's also on the CD "Music for the Miracle."

My commercial 45 has a listed time of (3:38), but an actual time of (3:42).
