On the 45 of The Impressions' 'Check Out Your Mind', there is a very dramatic and heavy reverb-type effect on the vocals near the end of the song (where the three group members take turns singing the song's title). These vocals are 'dry' on the Rhino Very Best Of CD. (I don't know about the song's other CD appearances.)

This is a good catch Paul as the LP "Check Out Your Mind" does not have the reverb but the 45 does so there is a 45 and LP version designation needed for this song.

Allow me to add that my commercial 45 is mono, has a listed time of (3:20), but an actual time of (3:23).

Since the 45 version isn't available on any domestic CD has anyone found it on an import?

After all this time I bet the 45 version for this song is still MIA.
