The printed run time on commercial 45 copies of Santana's "Oye Como Va" is 2:59, but I believe the actual run time is closer to 2:54. Can anyone confirm the actual commercial 45 run time?

Todd, I got you a lot closer. My commercial 45 and both the mono/stereo sides of my promo 45 all state a listed time of (2:59), but all have an actual time of (2:56).

Looks like the difference between the stated and actual run time is still significant enough to incorporate into the database. Thanks, Jim!

I recreated the 45 version a few weeks back, based on my scratchy stock 45. The end product times out to 2:54.

the vinyl 45 starts with the organ intro in the left
channel and the spoken words in the right...the 'greatest
hits' cd (columbia 33050) has them reversed
