Pat:
Regarding 10cc's "The Things We Do for Love", I notice nearly every CD appearance of that song in the database runs 3:27-3:30. However, the Greatest Hits 1972-1978 (Mercury 800562) CD is shown with a run time of 3:19 and there's no notation explaining this shorter version. Is the 3:19 time a typo, or do we have an early fade/edit (or something else) here?

The (3:19) version is really (3:20) and is just an early fade of the 45 and LP.

I appreciate the update, Pat. I also notice "The Things We Do for Love" runs 3:23 on the Formula 45 (Box Set), according to the database. Is this another case where the song is an early fade of the 45 and LP version (in this case, :05 early)?

Yes Todd, the version found on "Formula 45" is the 45 and LP version faded :05 early.
