The mono version of "Lonely Days" is a fold-down, as are the remaining Bee Gees ATCO singles from 1971 & 1972.
As for the singles prior to "Lonely Days," all of them are either dedicated mono mixes and/or match the mono LP versions (which are also likely dedicated mixes).
I can say for certain that the mono LP version of "First Of May" is different from the mono single. Fortunately, the mono 45 mix is available on the Ultimate compilation from 2009, whereas the 2009 deluxe version of Odessa has the mono and stereo LP mixes but not the single mix. The 45 mono mix has strings in places where the mono LP mix has them almost totally buried. "I've Gotta Get A Message To You" is also different between the mono LP and mono single, which is probably common knowledge to most of us who post here.
