My commercial 45, which is mono, has a listed time of (3:04), but an actual time of (2:53).

There is one entry for the mono version of Groove Me:
Rhino Hand Made 7739 Atlantic Soul (1959-1975) (Box Set) (slower than the 45)
How much slower is it? Is it fixable? Does it sound like a fold-down mix or true mono mix?

Groove Me was a dedicated mono mix. The Stereo mix had some issues with phasing on AM and FM mono stations when folded down.

Do you know if "Baby Let Me Kiss You" is a dedicated mono mix also?

Indy500: Not sure if you were looking to recreate "Baby Let
Me Kiss You" in stereo, but Pat had once posted:
"The LP and 45 differ substantially and the 45 cannot be
recreated by editing the LP so this really deserves a 45
version vs LP version designation which I have entered in
the database."

Baby Let Me Kiss You is also dedicated mono on the 45 single.

since the 45 ends at 2:53, are the longer stereo versions in the database
essentially an LP length?

the mono 45 has reverb while the stereo folddown does
not....is that what is meant by phasing?

Phasing means when you fold-down a stereo copy and it sounds swishy or
the high end gets muddy. The two channels, therefore, are not perfectly in
phase with each other.

Asking this again... I own this CD and didn't realise Groove Me was too slow until I read
this thread. Can anyone tell me what % I need to speed it up to match the 45, please?
