On another track from this new Eric CD, nice that it's first time without all the extra reverb, however it runs slower than all other versions and fades about a second earlier. How does this compare to the 45?

David, the Eric version is exactly the correct version. The actual 45 running time is (2:25) not (2:20) as stated on the record label and all other cd appearances are too fast.
