Hello, new member here.
I am getting a login error for the database. It says I'm logged in already from another computer. Yet, this is my only PC. I have cleared cookies etc but still get the same error.
Can anyone help?

New subscribers should note that you must click on the "log out" button every time you leave the database. If you do not you will get the message that you are logged on to another computer when you try to access the database again.

That's not always true. I have "x'ed" out plenty of times, and when I reopen Internet Explorer and go back to the database, it shows me as already logged in. The only time I ever get the login error is if I forget to logout of my desktop and then try to login on my laptop. Occasionally, if I accidentally click twice on the "new search" link before the page has time to load, I also get the login error. If it happens, you generally have to wait an hour or so before you can get back in.

I just got the "multiple logins" error, and can't log on.
What happened, I think, is that last night I set my browswer to automatically empty my cache when the browser is closed. I must have forgotten to log off. When I went right back in, it said I was already logged on on another computer. You would think it would have a way of recognizing your computer, though.

Usually once a week, I do a 'doh' and 'x' out before I log out... Guess I'm human.

I haven't had this problem yet, but I'm sure there will come a time when I forget to log out.
So how do you get back into the database when even turning off & on your computer doesn't solve the problem?
