My commercial 45, which is stereo, has a listed time of (2:51), but an actual time of (2:55). Its only current CD appearance in the database runs (2:58).

Jim was kind to shoot me a vinyl 45 dub of Barbara Streisand's "Where You Lead". I compared the 45 to the song as it appears on the Barbara Joan Streisand CD (Columbia 30792) and they are mixed differently even though both are in stereo. The vocals, electric guitar, and organ sound much more prominent on the 45 mix, while the drums and cymbals are more "up front" on the CD/LP mix.
Pat, would you agree for database purposes that the Barbara Joan Streisand CD should have an "LP mix" comment for "Where You Lead", assuming this mix is reflective of the vinyl LP? I'd be happy to e-mail you a 45 dub, if you need it, so you can make your own judgment.

I should also note that the 45 is approximately 1.4% slower in pitch than the CD/LP.
