In early 1975, I was buying a dozen or so 45's at my local record shop, including this one. I now remember that the owner said that he happened to have several "Bad Time" promo 45s, and he offered to replace the commercial 45 of it that I had in my pile with a promo, for free, because I'd bought a lot of 45s that day. I was thrilled, of course, getting my first "freebie" and all, and said yes to the offer. Tonight, of course, I was digging for my commercial 45 and, naturally, I can't find one. I will certainly track down a copy in the very near future, but I'm having to go by my promo 45 for now. Both the mono and stereo sides of my DJ 45 have a listed time of (2:55), but an actual time of (2:52).
