My commercial 45 has both a listed and actual time of (3:25). I only post this because the only two current database CDs which state "45 version" both run (3:30).

Pat:
I thought I'd bring to your attention that the database currently states the 45 run time for "Midnight Blue" is 3:45. I'm sure this is a typo, at least according to the Jim's post above which reports the actual 45 time to be 3:25.

my commercial 45 states the run time as 3:25 but actually
runs 3:30......if you fade the full length cd version for
0:16 from 3:14 to 3:30 you'll effectively re-create the
proper 45 version....jim....can you re-review your run time
on this one as it's more than a second different from
mine.....thx edtop40

Does anybody have a CD recreation of the correct 45 length? I only have a noisy needle drop.

I'm quite appalled at the wildly varying masterings of
this song on CD. Some are overly trebly, and some are
amazingly muffled like someone used way too much NR and
EQ, trying to remove the tape hiss.
