Why do they do this? Why does the version of the new Ringo Starr Greatest Hits album have a different line up in stores than it does on iTunes, both versions leaving off a top 40 hit? (Oo-Wee on the store version, Dose Of Rock & Roll on the iTunes version) It's stuff like this that ticks me off with today's music market.

Not only that, they always seem to screw something up, like cutting off the countdown to Oh My My and Snookeroo.

Perhaps it's licensing--the original CD where "A Dose Of Rock And Roll" was is one of the few Ringo CDs not available on iTunes. So perhaps that track hasn't been cleared to be sold by iTunes.

Which is a bummer, I would've liked to have gotten it without forking full-price for either CD.

Maybe... though I still think it's odd that they're cleared for the new CD, but not all the tracks on it.

If you're looking to purchase "Oh My My" with the beginning countdown, it's available digitally on the 1973 "Ringo" release. Of course, the song is at LP length.

Actually, it's quite common there, and on other online download stores.

I know. I have both that CD, and the DCC CD.

Regarding the new Ringo Starr Photograph: Very Best of CD, is "A Dose of Rock and Roll" only available on the pressings that come with the bonus DVD, or is the song also available on the standard CD release (without the bonus DVD)?

Todd, "A Dose Of Rock 'N Roll" IS on my standard, non-DVD edition of this CD.

Thanks, Jim. I just wanted to make sure since the database currently shows the song appearing on the bonus DVD edition, but not on the non-DVD edition. Pat, you might want to make note.
