My commercial 45 has a listed time of (3:46), but an actual time of (3:55). This information now brings the 45 length to within a second or two of both the "Greatest Hits/Definitive Collection" CD lengths.

While on the subject of "Even the Nights Are Better", there are two CDs in the database where the song runs 3:28, yet there are currently no comments explaining this significantly shorter length. Is there a DJ 45 that runs 3:28? Or is the song on these discs simply an early fade of the 45 and LP lengths? Or could this be some kind of short edit that would warrant a "neither the 45 or LP version"?

Todd, both the stereo and mono sides of my promo 45 have a listed time of (3:46), but an actual time of (3:55), same as my commercial 45. I have no evidence that the (3:28) CD versions you refer to was ever a legitimate 1982 Arista 45 release.

The (3:28) versions are just early fades of the 45 and LP.
