There is no notation in the database, but I believe that the 45 and LP versions of "Cover Girl" by New Kids on the Block may be different.
Unfortunately, I never owned the 45 but the version I remember hearing on the radio in 1989 featured a low robotic voice interjecting "my cover girl" throughout. The version on Greatest Hits sounds has this voice and sounds like the version I remember on the radio.
But the version on Hangin' Tough does not have the synthesized vocal interjections and the mix sounds different.
Does anyone have the 45 to clarify this?

Yes, the commercial 45 & the promo CD are thoroughly remixed (and superior to the lp mix in my belief).

Abagon was kind to pass along that the actual commercial 45 run time of New Kids on the Block's "Cover Girl" is 4:06, not 4:00 as stated on the record label.
