Is anyone familiar with the CD "Control The remixes" a 8 track compilation of remixes of most tracks of the album of the same name from 1987? I have a european copy. Was it ever released in the US? It has a 4.30 version of Janet's Let's wait awhile which I believe is the commercial 45 version (a remix of the original album version and slightly shorter).

No, it was never released in the US, but, yes, the remix of "Let's Wait Awhile" on that CD was the US 45 version.

As the run time info!
The actual 45 running time is (4:36), the listed time is "4:30" on the record label. (A&M 2906)

The database shows this title with four words ("Let's
Wait A While"). My "Design of a Decade" CD shows
"Awhile" as one word, and I think I've seen it as one
word elsewhere. Did this spelling vary on different
45/LP/CD releases or is it simply a stray space in the
database?
