In the Collectors' Choice Music catalog, they mention that the "seldom heard 45 version" of Non Dimenticar by Nat Kin Cole is included on their new cd release "To Whom It May Concern". I compared this version to the "Capitol Collector's Series" cd as well as the "Classic Singles Box" and I do not detect any differences other than mono stereo mix differences. Can anyone shed any light on the 45 vs LP version of this song other than the obvious rerecording that appears on only 2 cd's in the database? According to Joel Whitburn's Top Pop Albums book, the song did not appear on the vinyl LP "To Whom It May Concern" so perhaps there wasn't an LP version at all?

Pat, I do own a 1958 original, Capitol 4056, promo 45 for "Non Dimenticar", and I will be shooting out an mp3 dub of it to you sometime over the next few days, to assist you in getting to the bottom of this one.

Pat, I can verify that "Non Dimenticar" was not on that original To Whom It May Concern vinyl album.
