Although I can't say with 100% certainty, I'm pretty sure that Bon Jovi's "Bad Medicine" was an early fade of the LP Version on the 45. My book says 45 "version" and LP "version" but it should probably read "length."

I can confirm that the 45 is an early fade of the LP version. My 45 has a printed run time of 3:52 and an actual run time of about 3:54.
To recreate the 45 from the LP, keep 0:00.0-3:55.1 of the LP version, with a 32-beat fade from 3:39.1-3:55.1.
My timings use the LP version from the promotional CD PGD Presents Sound Savers Vol. 2, PolyGram SACD-516, 1992.

This was issued as a 3-inch CD single in America at the time the song was released, which I own. I don't have the LP length to compare, but the true 45 version is out there on CD.
