my commercial 45 issued as mca 53123 states a run time of 4:05 but actually runs 4:09 and is identical to the version from The "beverly hills cop II" soundtrack, (thanks dc, john & paul) and my guess the otehr 4:09 versions in the db as well.....but....the db has a few 4:06 versions ie, "best of" on mca 10064, which i have, but that version is sped up slightly causing it to run about 0:03 shorter in length...this should be noted in the db.....

I've only found the Extended Version from the 12" of Cross My Broken Heart on a few compilations, & some of them seem really sketchy:
* The "Dance Classics" collection from the Netherlands
* The "Movie Klub80" collection from Poland
* "Ultimate Classic Party" from Malaysia
I can't speak to the other two because I haven't heard them, but the "Dance Classic" version sounds to me like it's from vinyl based on the grit I hear in the voices, and the warble in pitch and tone as the mix plays on. It's hard to believe the tape sounds like this!
Has anybody heard those other two collections and do either seem to be from tape? Does anybody know if a legitimate digital copy sourced from the master tape of this mix?
