Pat, you indicate that the single of this song is a "version", but I compared the album version to my 45 and it seemed to me, it was an early fade. Are there mix differences I hadn't noticed? If not, I think this listing is a mistake and should be changed to "single length".

I know you said that you counted Tavares' "Don't Take Away the Music" as a "version" even though it's just an early fade, because the album version was about 3 minutes longer. Even by that reasoning, that's not the case here as the album recording is only 50 seconds longer than the 45, and I think in most cases where the album is longer by the single by only a minute or less, you use the "length" distinction.

The album version of NNY sounds slower to me. It also sounds like it's mixed differently.

I just checked to compare the 45 with the vinyl LP.The actual 45 running time is 3:29 (3:29 on the record label). The actual LP running time is 4:22 (4:25 on the record label). Both speed are about the same. The 45 is faded out earlier than the LP track. And I can't find out the remix etc.My thinking is also "the changing to length".I can't mention about (LP version but sped up) on the db.Because I have no CD contained this song.
