I just compared my 45 with the version listed in the DB and found that there's an edit in the intro. With a small speedup, the time of the 45 is 3:28. Has anyone seen this edit on CD?

It does not exist on CD.

Not only is there an edit, the mono 45 is a different mix. the drums are mixed down a bit.

I had to do a needle drop of it.

i believe that the vinyl 45 and cd versions are the same
except for the 0:10 edit during the intro and the
mono/stereo anomalies.....i do not hera a sped issue as
well......i just a/b'ed them and if there is a mix
difference it's too subtle for my ears.....i just sent john
the vinyl 45 to try and re-create the 45 version.....i will
report back later...

john just sent me the edit he made and it's spot
on....again, aside from the mono/stereo differences i think
there are no mix differences....

There IS a mix difference. On the 45, the drums are much
lower. The drum fill that appears on the intro is missing
from the 45.
