My commercial 45, which is mono, and confirmed as Dunhill/ABC 4215, has a listed time of (2:40), but an actual time of (2:44).

Is the LP version also missing the guitar overdub found on the 45? I'm comparing the stereo version from "Celebrate" with the LP version, and there isn't a guitar difference jumping out at me. The only thing I noticed is that the ending of "Celebrate" has a short piano segment that is in mono while the rest of the song is in stereo.

There is a fuzz guitar added to the single only, kicks in around halfway into the song if I remember correctly. The stereo versions with the piano ending are simply the LP version with the piano added to the end, possible from a clean 45.

Bill, I finally had a chance to compare the mono single to the stereo
version that Pat lists as "45 version but missing a guitar overdub." I do
hear the fuzz guitar kick in around the half way mark on the 45.

You are also correct that the stereo "45 version" on cd is just the LP
with the piano ending tacked on. This should really be a "neither"
version in the database. First, the piano ending fades in on the cd, but it
comes in almost at full volume on the 45. Second, the piano ending
starts earlier on the cd by almost a full second. It was a noble attempt
at preserving the 45 ending, but it doesn't quite match up with the
actual mono single.

I have the ABC/DUNHILL (noted on the record label) GOLDIES 45 of that wrongly listed as 2:40 when it's the actual longer (in a unqiue reversal) single (piano ending taken from another album track.)
