My commercial 45, which is mono, and confirmed as Imperial 66378, has a listed time of (2:34), but an actual time of (2:30).

I just acquired a promo 45 copy for this one. Again confirmed as Imperial
66378, "Everyday With You Girl" only appears on one side of the promo
45, which was not at all unusual for 1969. But, unlike the stock 45
reported in my previous post, the hit side of this promo 45 both states
and is actually stereo. Deadwax is a handwritten "IM-6628-S". This stereo
promo's listed (2:34), actual (2:30) timings exactly mimic my stock 45's
earlier-made timing report . (Out of curiosity, I just re-pulled my stock
45; its deadwax info is a handwritten "IM 6628").

Over the years, there have been several db songs unearthed from this
time period where promo 45 copies have been reported to be issued in
both mono and stereo 45 configurations. I'm curious to know if anyone
either owns or thinks they remember playing a mono promo 45 copy for
this song.

A primary reason for my continuing intrigue with promo 45 copies of old
hits is that I want to know exactly what radio was provided with/played
on-air during the song's hit run. I find it fascinating, for example, that all
early 1976 DJ 45 copies of "Dream Weaver" by Gary Wright had the song
only in mono, while all stock 45 copies were in stereo. And, unless a
mono promo 45 turns up here, it appears that the exact opposite Top 40
airplay situation could be true in this song's case.

45 Cat shows a
standard promo 45 for this song with "Sentimental Lady" on
the B side which is what I recall playing back in the spring
of 1969. Couldn't tell you if it was mono or stereo...we
were an AM station. I don't personally have a promo copy of
this.

I think you've got a rare one Jim.
