My commercial 45, which is mono and confirmed as JAD 207, has a listed time of (2:40), but an actual time of (2:36). FYI, the four current database CDs that include this song feature run times ranging from (2:37) to (2:42).

Jim -
Well, that's interesting...my commercial JAD J-207-A copy of "Hold Me Tight" is mono, too. However, the listed time is 2:50 and actually runs 2:46. The only etched in lettering/numbering I see on the record is "J-207-A". The flip side is "Cupid".

My commercial 45 of JAD 207 also runs (2:46). The versions I've heard from downloads and on XM over the years have always sounded like the Chipmunks to me because they're pitched so much faster than my 45.

Sadly, my computer now has an "unbootable boot file", so I'm back here at the library. I will check to see if I made a :10 typo, at both ends of the listed/actual timing made during my initial post, and report back soon.

Thanks for the correction, guys. After re-checking, my initial post should've also been typed in as "listed (2:50), actual (2:46)".

in order to effectively recreate the 2:46 vinyl 45 version
you'll need to pitch down the 2:42 cd version to match the
45 speed...
