I have some 45 run time info regarding Kansas' "Hold On"... According to edtop40, the actual commercial 45 run time is (3:50), not (3:45) as stated on the record label. According to abagon, the actual DJ 45 run time is (3:51), not (3:45) as stated on the label. It's possible the :01 run time difference between the two 45s could be due to a very slight variation in turntable speeds, but this is the timing info as it's been reported to me.

my commercial 45 issued as kirshner 4291 states a run time on the label as 3:45 but actually runs 3:50 and is identical to the version from the below cd
(S) (3:50) CBS Associated 39283 Best Of

Now I verified my promo 45 again. The end of this song points at (3:51.006). Thereby, I think it only has a very slight difference between ed'45 and my 45. I don't think about the turntable speeds. Because there is a running time which is longer as well as shorter than the others occasionally.
