Does anyone know if a radio edit exists for the current top 40 hit "Wake Me Up When Sept Ends" by Green Day? I know that "Blvd of Broken Dreams" had an edit, and since this new one clocks in at over 4:40 on the album, I thought it might have one, too.

Yep, there is a radio edit promo CD that runs 4:16 vs. the 4:45 album length.

Does anyone know where the edits occur on the radio edit?

The first edit is on the intro, with the 2nd and 3rd measures edited out (removing 4 1/2 seconds). The second edit is near the end of the song---the chorus "wake me up when september ends" is repeated 3x on the lp version but only 2x on the edit. The middle one is edited out on the third count preceding the line, if that makes sense. Finally, the song fades out to the 4:16 mark, about 16 seconds before the lp version is faded out.
